#10 Texas legislature eliminates penalties for driving without a license plate.

This isn’t such a big story for 2011, but more of a teaser for 2012. When was the last time a state allowed motorists to travel through it without using a license plate?

Sure this was an accident and has politicians in Texas scrambling to find a way to reverse it, but it should make for some very interesting stories starting on Monday.
