Now where have we seen this before..?

After some digging, we discovered that it’s actually OptoTraffic who operates the mobile trailer speed cameras in this part of Saint George’s County, MD.

Seems like they’re trying to stay low key while their corpulent front man, the ironically named county police official, Officer “Liberate” openly advocates “locking up” suspects of petty vandalism like spray painting the lens of a camera.

It’s hard to imagine why anyone might take issue with these speed cameras, other than the massive technical failures and kangaroo court system planned to actually turn a profit for the county on their little flashing boxes.

And as you can see, the mobile systems just blend right in to the landscape, going completely unnoticed - picture below:

We hate to break the news to OptoTraffic, but “cameras watching cameras” has been done and was already a major fail in Arizona. No points off for trying, though.
