A Different Kind of Mile High Salute - Denver Photo Radar Protest
A Denver motorist correctly points out that photo radar tickets are unenforceable, which is why he tripped the radar on purpose while giving the camera an obscene gesture.
“Democracy is messy process. Sometimes you have to engage in a little civil disobedience. You have to be a little vulgar to get your point across,” says Daniel, who was photographed by an Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) van.
Daniel is correct about democracy, but unfortunately, Denver motorists were never given a vote on the matter of photo radar because the politicians and bureaucrats know that this dangerous system is also wildly unpopular.
This photo gallery from the WarOnDriving Flickr account, shared courtesy of the CameraFRAUD National Facebook page, should sum it up pretty nicely.

Nobody who’s paying attention is going to pretend the US economy is in good shape, nor has it been since 2007 (and arguably much longer than that).
Inflation on necessities has been a burden on many, but especially those on fixed incomes.
The last thing someone in that position needs to see is an extortion letter in the mail, or “traffic citation” as they’re called by the private companies who issue them.
In Green Cove, Florida a retiree was not only sent one of these scam tickets, but was charged extra just to fight it in court.
What a racket they have going out there in North Florida. From the news report below by First Coast News, it sounds like the cameras are on the way to even more communities.
Will the citizens of Green Cove say enough is enough?
